THE LITTLE POEM OF PRINICIPALS OF DESIGN
The principles of Design,
You know it holds the key,
Where balance has visual effects,
And effective stability,
We contrast with our colours
Our textures and our shapes,
And strong line of flowers,
Will help to dominate.
Does it all look good together?
Does it all connect as one?
Well if this is the case,
Then my darlings, harmony has been done.
To please the eye convincingly
Proportion must be right,
To make a bride look at her best,
Be sure to be polite.
Do the eyes wander through your flowers,
Like pathways in the sand,
With dainty on the outside
Getting stronger on firm ground
Have your flowers got a natural feel
From the smallest to the grand,
And not in a little tiny pot,
Should a stately arrangement stand.
Put all the rules together
And you will simply find,
A thing of beauty will be made,
From the finest to the sublime.
